INFLECTIONS EP is the joint collabloration of classical vocalist Vinita Gupta of the Rampur Sadarang tradition and her son vocalist/composer/keyboard player Vinayak Gupta (who is also the keyboard player for the well known hindi rock band Euphoria). The tracks have been produced by Vinayak Gupta and Bangalore based drummer/producer Joe Panicker.This EP also features some very seasoned musicians from the Delhi music scene such as Synth whiz and ace arranger Aman Nath(currently based in Bombay and part of the Synth-Electronica act Paraphoniks), guitarist Saibal Basu and flautist Ajay Shankar Prasanna and many others who have contributed to the making of the songs.Brief desciption of the tracks and song credits are given below:

Tore Bin Piya is lyrically talking about the long distance relationship. Lovers in two different places..remembrance...soulful acoustic guitar driven with a hint of electronica!:)

Dancedhwani is about celebration and dance. Set in Raag Hamsadhwani the song revolves around a very electronic arrangement against the offset of the traditional classical bandish 'Baanki Tori Chaal' as the main refrain. The Vocals presenting Vinita Gupta in her classical singing form complemented by sounds of the flute tweaked for production purposes only!:)

Sajna Na Aaye describes pathos...longing for her beloved..the one who left and never came back...Set in Raag Jog, the main focus being the mellifluous voice of Vinita Gupta woven around a synthesized arrangement. Special mention to Aman Nath for the choice of synth sounds complementing the all encompassing voice-the soul of this track.
