An exceptional performing and recording artist, Anand Richa’s musical talent surpasses many genres, ranging from devotional to pop to folk to fusion.
Richa has received training in Indian Classical music from Sangeet Ashram, Kolkata and Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Ahmedabad. She also holds a post graduate degree in Psychology from University of Calcutta.
She has collaborated with many renowned Indian and International musicians like Karunesh, Chinmaya Dunster, Manish Vyas, Grant Macredie, Budi Siebert and Kailash Kokopelli.
Richa’s debut album named- ‘Divine melody’ was released in 2010 which gained world-wide appreciation. She has performed at International Music Festival during Commonwealth Games, New Delhi and has delivered stage concerts at various parts of India.
Richa has sung for Karunesh's latest album- 'Colors of the East', released in 2012 by Oreade music, USA. She has also sung for Chinmaya Dunster's album- ‘Gaia's Garden’, released in 2011 by New Earth Records, USA. Her voice features in the album- ‘Love Letters to the Guru’ by Grant Macredie, New Zealand.
