“Like most people I know (and that probably includes you reading this!), I don’t think I really understand why I am here or what my purpose in life is!” says Chin2 Bhosle.
Born into, what is deemed to be, India's first family of music (Chin2 Bhosle is Asha Bhosle's grandson), post his MBA he has (hold your breath!) - worked in an Event Management company, in an Advertising Agency, been a Radio Jockey, done professional theatre as an Actor and a Director, been a Video Jockey, done Music Direction for films, composed Background Scores, acted in a Bollywood feature film, given Voice Overs and Character Voicings for various brands, done the occasional modeling assignment, appeared on a variety of TV serials and TV shows as a celebrity guest, done playback singing, launched India’s largest networked radio station (Big FM) as Mumbai’s Programming Head, launched 4 music albums as a member of India’s first and only boy band, ‘A Band of Boys’ and has launched his solo album with grandmom Asha Bhosle (with the second solo album 'Coming Home' due for release in 2012)
His first professional foray into music was with his band 'A Band of Boys' - India's first and only boy band - and over the last 9 years his band has given you hits like - 'Meri Neend', 'Gori', 'Nain Katari', etc.
He then started exploring his own sounds, grooves and finally collaborated with his grandmom, Asha Bhosle, to release his 1st solo album - 'Sapne Suhane'. The album was extremely well received and within 2 weeks of its launch made it to the Top 10 Indipop Charts and was comfortably nestled there for over 12 weeks!! He also won the 'Best Music Album of the Year' award!
