I wanted to become a music composer from a very young age. I remember, I was very young, and I used to play the harmonium. People who listened seemed to be overjoyed seeing a kid play an instrument. It was this very reason which gave me an impetus to pursue my dream to become a composer. Sometimes I ask myself, why do I make music? Primarily, I do it because I love to. I love to express myself through music. Secondarily, because I want to touch people through my music. Thirdly, there is nothing else I can do apart from music. It is that immense head rush you get when a musical phrase comes to you, you want to compose music for that. And then if I can let people know what that feeling is, better.
