Sunitha Sarathy is an Indian vocalist and performer in both Indian contemporary and Western Classical Music genres. She is also a Gospel Singer who performs in various Church choirs. After having won the "Virgin Voice Choice" contest — a joint initiative of Channel V and Virgin Records in the year 2000, Sunitha debuted into film playback in the year 2002.
She debuted as a playback singer with the hit tamil song "Thoodhu Varuma" from the film Kaakha Kaakha- The Police. 
Her songs "Hey Khuda Hafiz " from Yuva and "My wish comes true" from Kisna show her versatility as a singer.
Her last Bollywood outing was for the film Don 2, for the song 'Dushman Mera' as well as the 'Don Theme-The King Is Back' .
She has also sung the hit "Warriors in Peace" from the Hollywood production Warriors of Heaven and Earth.
Sunitha Sarathy has more than 300 film songs in various languages. She also performs as a singer-keyboardist-percussionist across a wide spectrum of Western music genres including classical, jazz, soul and R&B, neo-soul and quiet storm, and has a prolific output of gospel songs to her credit.
